Ambushed: FC official killed in Hangu

FC personnel along with Doaba police launched a search operation in the surrounding area.

HANGU: A Frontier Constabulary (FC) official was gunned down by unidentified militants in Tora Warhi, Hangu on Tuesday. Doaba police official Islamdin said the incident occurred in the afternoon, explaining a convoy of FC officials was en route to Tora Warhi when unidentified militants ambushed it and severely injured an official. Islamdin added the attackers managed to escape after firing a round of bullets, following which the injured official, identified as Mudam Gul, was rushed to Combined Military Hospital, Thal. However, he succumbed to his injuries. The official added FC personnel along with Doaba police launched a search operation in  the surrounding areas, but no one has been arrested yet.
