KARACHI: Members of civil society and All Pakistan Muslim League held a peace walk for the former president General (retd) Pervez Musharraf at Sea View on Sunday. The protesters were holding posters of the former president and shouting slogans, such as ‘We want justice’ and ‘We want Musharraf’. They said they were protesting because of the injustice being done to the former president. Musharraf has been singled out, which is demoralising for the armed forces of the country, they said. The protesters said that they will gather again for the former president next Sunday at the same place to continue protesting in his favour. “We are afraid that his condition may worsen,” said Sindh APML general secretary Muslim Bhutto, adding that the former president also faces security threats in Pakistan.
