Republic day: PM felicitates Indian premier
PM says Pakistan committed to forging friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries.
ISLAMABAD:
Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has felicitated his Indian counterpart Dr Manmohan Singh on the occasion of his country’s Republic Day being celebrated on January 26. In his message of greetings to the Indian prime minister, he said Pakistan was committed to forging friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries, as it was in mutual interest and essential for the progress and prosperity of the people in the region. “We wish you good health and happiness and to the people of India continued progress and prosperity,” the Prime Minister added.
