We idiots deserve this. Until we learn to be tolerant of diverse views & opinions, until we learn to respect all religions and faiths amongst us, with no one religion considered supreme, until we learn to respect people, men and women, no matter how divergent their views may be, we are condemned to be idiots, and by extension live with this death and destruction. And that will not happen until we move out of our narrow minded cacoon.

We have the means to change ourselves, but have chosen not to do so because we lack the necessary enlightenment.

In other words we are to be blamed for ourselves.
