Overture: Car rally between Lahore and Amritsar planned

NEW DELHI:


A Nayab Car Rally will be held between Lahore and Amritsar, according to a joint communique issued after a meeting between the commerce ministers of India and Pakistan.

The communique also expressed satisfaction over keeping the Wagha Border’s custom post operational for the whole week. It said that the decisions taken in the meeting would be implemented by the end of the month. The two sides also agreed to provide access without any discrimination to each other’s market. They also agreed to finalise the procedure for technical working groups on banking‚ railways and custom. The third round of Pakistan-India business forum will take place in Pakistan next month.

Peace | 10 years ago | Reply Send only Christians,Sikhs and Hindus as the rally drivers towards India, as you know, the "others" arent encouraged or appreciated in India.This is a good opportune for minorities to escape and a good opportune for the GOI to make such a demand.Peace.
