PESHAWAR: Office bearers of the Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) student wing asked the party’s provincial leadership to dissolve their executive body as it had completed its tenure. Speaking at Peshawar Press Club on Saturday, the president of the Peoples Student Federation (PSF) at University of Peshawar, Ziaullah Khalil, said the tenure of the current PSF executive body in the province ended in October 2013. He asked the provincial and central leadership of the party to intervene and form an organising committee in this regard so a new executive body could manage their affairs. Accompanied by PSF Fata President Ghaus Khan, Khalil further said there are certain elements in its ranks which are earning a bad name for the party which must be checked by the provincial leadership. He said party’s provincial president, Khanzada Khan, should honour his commitments regarding reenergising PSF, adding there was growing discontent among PSF activists which needs to be addressed immediately.
