BAHAWALPUR:
Anti-terrorism court Judge Nisar Ahmad on Thursday awarded life imprisonment to three men for kidnapping a child for ransom.
According to the prosecution, Muhammad Aamir Hussain, Aashiq Hussain and Gulshan Naheed were convicted of abducting Arham Waheed, 7, a resident of Model Town’s C Block, Bahawalpur. The boy was later released after his family paid the kidnappers Rs500,000 as ransom. The judge also ordered to confiscate the property of the convicts.
