Robbery: Thieves stole cash from house

ISLAMABAD: Thieves have stolen cash from a house in the Kohsar area. Ansar Masih lodged a complaint with the police that thieves stole Rs700,000 from his house in Sector F-6/2 while his family was away. Meanwhile, the same police arrested a man after exchange of fire in Blue Area. Police signalled two motorcyclists to stop near China Chowk, but they sped up their bike and one of them opened fire on the police. The police chased them and arrested one of them after he fell from the motorcycle after he lost balance. The same police nabbed a suspected bootlegger, identified as Sharif, along with 25 liquor bottles in Sector F-6/4. The police registered separate cases.
