Remote-controlled bomb blast near DI Khan injures 8 police officers

In separate incidents, 4 bullet-riddled bodies were found in Nowshera, a security official was shot dead in Swabi.

SWABI/ NOWSHERA/ DERA ISMAIL KHAN: A remote-controlled bomb blast near Dera Ismail Khan left eight police officers injured, Express News reported on Tuesday.

The blast took place in the Thana Kulachi area near a police mobile. Rescue teams are on the way.

According to SHO Imran Kundi, who was also injured during the attack, a remote-controlled bomb was used in the blast.

Swabi

In another incident, unidentified persons on a motorcycle killed a security agency official in Swabi.

The criminals fired at the official, identified as Amjad Ali, and managed to get away.

Nowshera

In a separate incident, four bullet-riddled bodies were found in Thana Azakhel, Nowshera earlier today.

The bodies were found in a village near River Kabul.

According to initial details, the deceased are reportedly between 25 and 45 years of age.

The identity of the victims is not yet known. The bodies were taken to District Headquarter Hospital for post mortem.

Further investigations are underway.

Peshawar

A hand grenade attack on a check post on the outskirts of Peshawar left a police officer dead and another injured.

The attack – carried out by two unidentified armed men - took place in the Regi Model Town.

Most of the commentators seem to suggest that our military/army is not capable of fighting a few thousands thugs. How about this idea, lets dismantle the whole useless army which eats up most of the national budget and use that money saved for the development of KPK, FATA. and rest of the country.

Just imagine if that had been the approach of all our heroes over the centuries, what would have happened! The world would be truly in the clutches of the forces of darkness! And what guarantees of peace, even then? And finally, if we are to give over our land to these forces of evil, why not just give it to the Americans, or Chinese, or Indians - at least there would then be some semblance of law and order, rather than anarchy!

PMLN is not taking responsibility of FATA and situation in FATA is affecting kpk security situation and mr Aamir you posted comments like these every time and which shows you belong to MQM. in the end i would say PTI kpk govt is much better then other 3 provincial Govts. @Imtiaz @Qasim: This is the failure of the PTI provincial govt. After singing friendly songs, blocking NATO routes, naming USA in FIRs, protesting against drones, the only province to be targeted is KPK which governed by PTI. I also voted for PTI. Rather my entire family, but with our fingers crossed. The fact is PTI cannot manage. They are confused. Imran Khan has not given any clear ideology. If negotiations were the way forward, these explosions should not be happening in KPK, but in Punjab and Sindh. Open up your eyes and try to differentiate between cautious and incompetent.

@Imtiaz Khan: I am agree we have see our army and police cant win that war as enemy is not obvious, Enemy is in every where in Pakistan. And they have capacity to lodge terroriest any where in Pakistan. They are quite strong and have symmapthies among some mases. We have to delinated long term strategdy bcz untill in nine years they are getting multiplied every where.

I'm a PTI supporter and we had been warning this forever. You cannot win this war! They ve been winning it slowly since this war began. Peace talks are the only way forward. It is beyond the capacity of army and police to win this war. We must negotiate and if in the short term we have to lose something to achieve peace in the long term peace will benefit us.
