KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has decided to launch an anti-privatisation movement after taking other political parties and trade unions into confidence, reported the JI chief Syed Munawar Hasan. He was addressing a press conference at Idara-e-Noor-e-Haq on Sunday. “The party has evolved a strategy to initiate countrywide protests against the privatisation of national institutions in order to prevent corruption, unemployment and lawlessness,” said Hasan, adding that a meeting of political representatives and trade unions is scheduled for January 16.
