Playing fair: Rashid calls for unbiased coverage

Asks PTV management to ensure unbiased coverage of PTI chairman Imran Khan as a sportsman as well as a politician.

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage Pervaiz Rashid asked PTV management to ensure unbiased coverage of PTI chairman Imran Khan as a sportsman as well as a politician. “The services of any politician including Imran Khan, who won laurels for the county in playing field, must be acknowledged,” he said. Speaking at the second anniversary of Pakistan Television (PTV) Sports, he also asked PTV to highlight the achievements of female players. Jehangir Khan, Shahid Afridi, Basit Ali and swimmer Aurooj Mumtaz were present at the ceremony, amongst others.
