LAHORE:

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan on Sunday expressed disappointment that not a single representative from the PTI government in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa had condoled the death of Aitizaz Hasan, the teenager who foiled a suicide attack at his school in Hangu last week.

“Aitizaz is a national hero and we are proud of his martyrdom. However, it is sad that neither the K-P chief minister nor any member of his cabinet went to offer condolences to the bereaved family,” Imran told reporters at the residence of PTI Women Wing President Neelam Ashraf in Lahore.

Imran said his party would bear all expenses of Aitizaz Hasan’s family and extend complete cooperation. Imran, while admitting the law and order situation in K-P, also pointed out that in Punjab, one of PTI’s ticket holders had been murdered along with four others, and that as compared to 172 incidents of terrorism in K-P, the other three provinces had witnessed 103 attacks in total.

To a question about reopening Nato supply routes, the PTI chief said, “The US hasn’t contacted us for reopening the Nato supply routes. “Our rulers are crazy about dollars but Nato supplies in K-P would remain suspended until US assures us that it will stop drone strikes.”

IK just follow Malala's prompt response to the incident of Shaheed A. Hassan. Your party and organization should not be slower than one young lady. NATO supplies would be opened when the US would really want. Or all overseas funds to Pakistani political parties from overseas would stop by changing US law. I am not naming names but if the shoe fits wear it.
