
The O’ and A’ Level students, who received awards for excelling in the exams, included Nimra Jawed of DHA Public School for securing a world ranking of top three in the O’ Level Sociology exams in 2009. Rehama Obaid, also of DHA Public School, was awarded for obtaining 12 As in the O’ Levels this year. Saad Ali Shah, who secured 11 As in his O’ Levels was also given an award.
Ayesha Munir of DHA College for Women was awarded the gold medal for clinching first position in the University of Karachi Bachelors of Arts exams in 2009. Asma Hanif of the same college received a distinction for attaining first position in the BSc exams.
At the intermediate level, DHA College for Women’s Nimra Arif received the coveted award of distinction for obtaining first position in the intermediate general science exams. Hira Alvi of the same college was also given a distinction award for securing first position in the intermediate commerce exams.
