We are NOT loving Michelle's look!
Downton Abbey star Michelle Dockery failed to impress on the red carpet of the Audi 2014 Golden Globes pre-party, and while you may not describe this dress as a heinous crime against fashion, it’s still pretty awful. We expected much better from Michelle. The usually impeccable Dockery was clad in an Altuzarra pre-fall 2014 two tone brick red and orange tartan an outfit that washed her out completely.

Hair and make-up
We appreciate Michelle showing off her porcelain skin and trendy flirty bangs. However, truth be told, we really can’t think of any hair or make-up that would look good with that awful dress.
Outfit
The plaid material is too busy and creates an optical illusion making one unsure of where the dress begins and where exactly it ends. Usually, brick red and orange tartan would make a lovely combination, but it is really not working out for Lady Mary Crawley here.
Accessories and shoes
Michelle has styled her all-plaid dress with Christian Louboutin pumps and a bright orange clutch, which would have looked fantastic, paired with a different dress. Here we just can’t take out eyes off the dress long enough to notice the accessories.
Bail out!
Anna Kendrick
When you look like Anna Kendrick you can pretty much wear whatever you want. A structured plaid skirt, white blouse and a purple leather jacket are all great pieces as separates and Anna shows exactly how to work these trends together by pairing this combination with off-white pumps.
Emma Watson
She knows exactly how to pull off a black leather jacket and make heads turn. The ever-so-chic Emma Watson has nailed three trends in this fashion-forward ensemble. Plaid, leather and timeless black pumps. We salute you, Hermione.
Kate Middleton
Kate Middleton looks perfectly polished in this blue plaid coat. Hair let loose, sparkling eyes and her contagious smile gave her the look we all wish we could effortlessly pull off. We expect nothing less from this style star royalty.
