ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said a 5 per cent quota should be reserved within the Youth Business Loan scheme for disabled or handicapped people. Presiding over a meeting regarding the progress of the scheme, Nawaz also asked for a review of rejected applications in order to ascertain if there had been any errors. The meeting was attended by Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar, Minister for Information Pervaiz Rashid and other officials. The premier asked NBP chairperson Muneer Kamal to review rejected applications and stressed that the scheme would be transparent, with no space for favouritism. He also asked bank officials to ensure a speedy processing of applications.
