Transfers and postings: Reshuffling bureaucrats

The transfer of grade 17 officer Saba Asim has been cancelled.

ISLAMABAD: A number of bureaucrats were transferred, while postings of others were cancelled on Friday. National Food Security and Research Secretary Seerat Asghar has been given the additional charge of secretary Housing and Works, whereas Abdul Jabbar’s transfer from the Ministry of Commerce has been cancelled and sent to the Federal Ombudsman. Privatisation Commission DG Hammad Owais Agha has been transferred to K-P. CDA Director Security Sheikh Farid Ahmad has been transferred to Punjab. The transfer of grade 17 officer Saba Asim from the Pakistan Administrative Service has been cancelled and returned to CDA. NBP Vice President Hanif Memon has been transferred to National School of Public Policy.
