Point scoring: ‘PTI using K-P for Punjab politicking’
Sherpao says PTI was following the footsteps of previous provincial governments who forget the promises they make.
PESHAWAR:
Qaumi Watan Party’s (QWP) parliamentary leader Sikandar Sherpao accused the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) of using Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa to smoothen its chances for local bodies polls in Punjab. Sherpao was talking to reporters on Friday during the “guest hour” at Peshawar Press Club. Sherpao said PTI was following the footsteps of previous provincial governments who forget the promises they make during election season once they came into power. He said the government had demanded Pesco from the centre and when it obliged, they panicked and are now using delaying tactics. However, Sherpao said his party believed in democracy and would not using undemocratic means to topple the government.
