Road accident: Man run over by speeding vehicle

ISLAMABAD: A man was knocked down by a speeding car on GT Road near Rawat in Rawalpindi. According to the Sihala police, a speeding car (RLD-2599) ran the man over near Sawan area while he was crossing a road. The victim, believed to be in his early twenties, could not be identified due to the absence of an identity card or any other proof of identification on him. The police shifted the body to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences for medico-legal formalities. The victim was wearing maroon shalwar-kurta and a jacket.  The victim was wearing maroon shalwar-kurta and a jacket.
