LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf considers local government elections necessary for real democracy and will fight for them, PTI Punjab chapter president Ejaz Chaudhary said on Thursday. He was addressing PTI office bearers at their provincial office. Chaudhary said the high court had ruled, in a remarkable judgment, against the Punjab government which had wanted to hold party-less election. He said now that delimitation had been declared illegal, the PTI would not allow the government to run away from local government elections. The PTI will give the PML-N a tough time in the polls, added Chaudhary.
