House robbery: Man shot by robbers critical

Police says the men took away cash, jewellery and valuables at gunpoint.

DASKA: A man was shot by robbers in City police’s area in Daska on Sunday. City police said Muhammad Sadiq Hussain, a resident of Inam Colony, was at his home with his family when three armed men broke into his house. Police said the men took away cash, jewllery and valuables at gunpoint. Police said when Hussain resisted the robbers they beat him up and shot him. Hussain was taken to a hospital where his condition was later reported to be critical.
