Qureshi and Bopanna dominated their opponents in the first set and clearly dictated the terms of proceedings on court as they broke Friedl and Haneseu's serve twice on their way to grabbing the first set.
In the second set, however, the Pakistan-India duo did not fare as well. Their serve was broken twice and they were 1-5 down at one point in time but a few return winners by the duo allowed them some breathing space but they could only make it 3-5 and lose the set.
The third set went into a tie break. Qureshi and Bopanna were able to get a break to make it 9-8 and made no more mistakes in winning the next point on their own serve to take the super tie break and the match.
