Qaumi Watan Party MPA from Charsadda Sultan Muhammad Khan.
According to details, police had arrested a few people on suspicion for aerial firing at a wedding last night and Sultan – along with his five supporters – came to the police station to get those arrested suspects released.
The MPA and his supporters stayed at the station for some time and also reportedly used intimidation tactics, after which the police arrested them and filed a case.
After the arrest of the MPA, QWP supporters staged a protest outside the police station. Security officers baton-charged the demonstrators and dispersed them.
Sultan had won the PK-18 seat Charsadda in the May 11 elections with 13,888 votes.

Well done KPK police. My Salams to you. This is a small example of arresting an MPA. Implement the Police Order 2002 and see the sea change i.e. depoliticizing the police force. Salams
If principle is universal implementation of rule of law, then why KPK police is practising double standards? At one hand, it is arresting opposition MPA for intimidating police officials. And on the other side, it is allowing PTI leaders & supporters to harass NATO drivers without any legal authority? Even, if KPK assembly has passed a bill of banning NATO supplies, it is still the responsibility of administration to implement it, which cannot be outsourced to private stormtroopers. Respect of law remains a joke for reigning parties in any province of the country... Need to elaborate this selective morality of governing parties on media for reform pressure...

Sultan khan is a respectable man who is also a lawyer he was there to release those poor men who were in police custody fr asrial firing in a wedding(culture) Sultan Khan went for their sake and their families to represent them. In foreign countries your MP stands up for you as well. Poor pakistan

@Mansoor: I dont see the comparison. This MPA was arrested for standing outside a police station and demanding this supporters be let out. The incidences you mention are not the same.
Fake arrest only for political arm twisting. Has the FIR been registered? Will he be prosecuted? The answer is NO. He will soon be released.

I am from charsadda, If KPK police and charsadda police is so Above the LAW try arrest ARSHID KHAD of Prang who takes Batta from ever Shop in Sardaryab the only picnic spot in Charsadda. and HE is from JI, or FAZAL KHAN who has illegally built a CNG station on a land which belong to a Mosque he is from PTI. its just politically motivated indecent. and We the people of PK17 support Sultan Khan what he has done. STANDING UP FOR HIS PEOPLE.
