The collision left people trapped inside the bus which was headed from Lahore to Islamabad.
The dead and injured were taken to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims) for first aid. Dr Ayesha of Pims confirmed that four people were killed, adding that three of the injured - including a child - are in critical condition.
Emergency was been declared at the hospital and additional doctors were called in.
Rescue officials reached the scene, attempting to cut the bus and free people who are currently trapped inside.
There were reportedly 70 passengers on the bus at the time of the accident.

there are speed limits in motorway,120 km/h top speed and the motorway police is quite strict.
Unfortunately,an all too common occurrence on Pakistan's roads.There are no speed limits and the traffic police is mostly absent.Building bigger and bigger roads only encourages over speeding.In days gone by,the media was used to create awareness of traffic laws.This is no longer the case.
