Pakistan’s High Commissioner-designate to South Africa Najam-us-Saqib, in a meeting with Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) President Aamir Abdullah Zaki, urged the business community to take benefit of South Africa’s vast economic potential including trade and investment opportunities.
Saqib said businessmen should pay more visits to South Africa to search for areas of interest to make the trips effective and instrumental.
Assuring the KCCI members of his support and facilitation, he said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had directed Pakistani embassies and high commissions to ensure maximum support to local businessmen as they held the key to strengthening and reviving the country’s economy.
“Pakistani products have a huge potential in South Africa where our businessmen can export almost all manufactured goods,” he said, adding this would pave the way for future investment and joint ventures.
