LAHORE: The police on Thursday claimed to have recovered a girl kidnapped from Karachi from Sanda late on Wednesday night. A police spokesman said she was found by tracking a mobile phone SIM used by one of her ‘kidnappers’.

Police said one of the kidnappers was claiming to be the girl’s husband. He said she eloped with him a few months ago and was staying at a rented house in Sanda. Police said the girl was the granddaughter of former Sindh chief minister.
