Chasing a target of 154, the Wolves were all out for a mere 103 with Shehzad inflicting the most damage and Mir Hamza and Shahzaib Ahmed bagging two wickets apiece. Salman Ali remained the top run getter scoring 34 from 65 balls while Imran Ahmed made 26.
Earlier, Mohammad Waqas (24), Mohammad Hasan (14), Saad Ali (46) and Fahim Ahmed (30) all chipped in with useful contributions as the Dolphins were bowled out for 153.
In another match, Ali Sarfraz and Faizan Riaz both hit half-centuries as the Islamabad Leopards posted a daunting target of 257 for the Multan Tigers.
However, Kashif Naved’s 53 went in vain as the Tigers were bowled out for 143 and lost the match by 113 runs. Hamza Nadeem ended with three for 27 and Kamran Hussain finished with three for 21.
Teamwork leads Lahore Eagles to one-wicket win
Ahmed Dar (34), Wahab Dar (33), Yousuf Ali (64) and Tanzil Altaf (20) all contributed with important knocks to help the Lahore Eagles chase a 268-run target.
Batting first, the Abbottabad Falcons amassed 267 as Mohammad Asghar and Rehan Afridi led the attack. Tanzil Altaf got two for 60 while Qaiser Ashraf ended with three for 45.
In the last match, the Lahore Lions won by 44 runs against the Hyderabad Hawks.
