The suspects appeared before the court today and charges were framed against them.
All six have been held in police custody.
The court also issued notices to witnesses and asked them to appear before the court on January 11, 2014.
Grisly murder
Pappu, his brother, Yasir Arafat and their associate, Juma Shera, were killed on the night of March 16. At the time, police stated that the men were kidnapped and tortured to death. The kidnappers shot them multiple times and chopped the bodies into pieces before throwing them away.
Pappu was one of the key players in the Lyari gang wars. He was arrested in 2006 but was released on bail in the 60-something cases against him.
The co-accused, who are absconding in the case, include the banned Peoples Amn Committee’s chief Uzair Jan Baloch, Habib Jan, Noor Muhammad alias Baba Ladla, his brother Zahid Ladla, Asif Kana, Faisal Pathan, Yasir Pathan, former SHOs of the Chakiwara and Kalakot police stations – Chand Khan Niazi and Javed Baloch.
The police had lodged the FIR of the triple murder case on the complaint of Pappu’s widow on the directions passed by the apex court.

These criminals are backed by local PPP regime and seems very obvious that police will not provide evidence are therefore court has no option but to release these criminals. Uzair Baloch who openly had the backing of Bilawal house playing fool with police and rangers. No hope of any real indictment.
So the indicted guy has until 11 Jan to harass and have the witnesses change their statements! Good!
