Collaboration discussed: Mauritius’ deputy PM visits HEC

Says he would like to promote student and faculty exchanges to benefit from the Pakistani experience.

ISLAMABAD: Mauritius has expressed keen interest in collaborating with Pakistan in the higher education sector. On Sunday, Mauritius’ Deputy Prime Minister Dr Ahmad Rashid Beebeejaun visited the Higher Education Commission’s offices and marvelled at Pakistan’s progress in the education sector. He said that he would like to promote student and faculty exchanges to benefit from the Pakistani experience which could lead to the opening of Pakistan university campuses in Mauritius.
