
Four employees of the IBA Community College Jacobabad, including its principal, went missing on Saturday night.
IBA Community College Jacobabad principal Asadullah Mangi, along with lecturer Syed Tahir Shah, accountant Zahid Jokhio and driver Anwar Jamali, were on their way to Sukkur from Jacobabad in a car but never arrived at their destination.
When contacted, IBA Community College Jacobabad administration officer Shoaib Soomro said that he was on leave on Saturday but has been informed of the situation. The institute’s director Nisar Ahmed Siddiqui confirmed the incident and informed The Express Tribune that Mangi is a resident of Sukkur. “Yesterday he left Jacobabad for Sukkur at about 7pm along with other employees,” said Siddiqui. “At 11pm, his relatives called me to ask about his whereabouts. It was then that we realised that he was missing.” SSP Jacobabad Malik Zafar Iqbal, confirmed that the principal and three other IBA employees have gone missing.
