Tech-development: Conference held for IT promotion

ISLAMABAD: A three-day 11th International Conference on the Frontiers of Information Technology (FIT) commenced, with the objective to provide a platform for engineers, academicians, scientists, industrial professionals and researchers from over the world to present the result of their research activities in the field of information technology and technological innovation. Comsats Institute of Information Technology is organizing the event in collaboration with IEEE Islamabad Chapter, IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, and IEEE Computer Society Technical Committee on Scalable Computing. Professor Dr Elisa Bertino, from the Perdue University in the United States was the key note speaker who talked about “challenges and opportunities with big data”. She said information technology has played a vital role in the past few decades and reshaped social standards among human beings.
