Police officials said that the three-and-a-half-year-old girl was injured when at least two armed men on a motorcycle hurled a hand grenade.
The men aimed to target the godown of a fishery trader, allegedly over non-payment of extortion money, said police officials. However, the grenade hit the empty house, causing injury to the girl who was standing near her home.
