Speaking up: Youth seeks involvement in policy making
The speakers demanded greater regulation of marriages and a ban with a penalty on child marriages.
HYDERABAD:
A youth conference on Sunday asked the government to devise a comprehensive youth policy which includes their rights, education, marriages and employment opportunities, among other things. NGO Shirkat Gah organised the event at the Hotel Indus in which around 38 youth groups from Punjab, Balochistan, Sindh and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa participated. The speakers demanded greater regulation of marriages and a ban with a penalty on child marriages.
