Polio workers are frequently attacked by militants and in the wake of a recent attack on Friday in which two people were killed, Imran Khan called on all political and religious leaders to join him in the campaign to eradicate polio.
Aseefa, who is also Pakistan's goodwill ambassador for polio eradication, praised Imran for taking the initiative and urged politicians to set political differences aside when it comes to matters of healthcare.
Fully support IK in encouraging #polio immunisation campaigns in KPK. When it comes to health care we must put political differences aside

Her older brother Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, chairperson of the Pakistan Peoples Party and a frequent critic of Imran Khan's policies, also surprised his followers by tweeting his support for PTI's upcoming protest against inflation.
Finally! A PTI position I can support. RT "PTI announced protest against inflation from 22nd December"

This praise from the siblings did not go unnoticed and PTI leaders Shireen Mazari and Naz Baloch quick to appreciate the support.
Mazari expressed her appreciation of Aseefa and Bilawal's remarks in a tweet, before going on to state that these compliments are proof that PTI is the voice of the nation.
Encouraging to see Aseefa & Bilawal's appreciation of IK's commitment to spearhead anti-polio campaign & PTI's anti mehngai protest. 1/2

2/2 This is a recognition by PPP ldrship that PTI is the voice of the nation and voices the pain of the nation.

@Dr.M.M.Khan: Dear Dr. thank you.I fully sympathise with you for your dear ones' health problem .One of my own older cousin was a polio affected. He died quite full youth but i saw him leading a miserable life. There was no shortage of bread and butter for him in the family but i always saw him distressed and dejected.Otherwise also he was an ignored person.Actually no taste of life is left behind after such a disability. Imran Khan is still young and has a zeal to work.He knew and understood this grave issue of polio.in KPK well before winning elections in the province. Now PTI is ruling the province from very beginning. Why did he kept quiet about the issue.so long? By now scores of kids must have been affected with this nefarious disease due to deprivation from the vaccine. What will they remember about their health care. What will be their life.Imran Khan could do a lot but he is late.
@azmat khan: I appreciate your human feelings. Thanks @NooriNatt: Go away, Pak does not need PPP or Bhutto’s. Just go away. You must be kidding telling the sons of daughters of Sindh and Pakistan to go away. They have not come from any other country they have been living here for many generations. Polio is not a game of hatred but a menace that we all have to be serious and join together. Did anybody ever realize that we have been killing each other in Pakistan and Afghanistan for 35 long years and now even our kids are not safe.
Polio is killing our kids and it is not a political joke. It is a national calamity and duty of each and every Pakistani to wage a war against it irrespective of their political affiliation. By the emergence of Polio God is sending a message that all humans have to be fight as one otherwise nobody would succeed. It is not a matter of personal likes or dislikes. All children must be properly vaccinated no exception. Please leave politics and personal hate out of it. This is the hate of TTP and terrorists which is killing our children and it is going to spread in the other countries.
PPP suddenly does not hate PTI. Just coincidence or....
Aseefa is not in charge of the polio eradication program but only a goodwill ambassador which means her job is to use public platforms to support polio efforts. It's a voluntary post and really does not require her to go door to door offering polio drops though she has done that in nowshera and couple of other localities in KPK but obviously she could not do so much interaction with ppl due to the fact and one cannot deny it that there is and was a security threat against her at the same time she is still pursuing her education and before you start raising the issue of her being abroad. Benazir was in exile and she took her kids with her for her and there security/benefit. Remember there 2 uncles and grandfather were taken from her family, her father in jail hence a lone women choose to take her children away from this danger. The fact that Benazir died as well just supports her case of being abroad even more, they are kids and are young; telling them to endanger there lives which they still have to live is very cruel indeed.
@azmat khan: I thank you for your comment. I apologize for not guessing your age but i do know what polio means and does. Perhaps like me you are very lucky. I have two cousins who contracted this disease.and have ended up with deformities. Their quality of life has been taken away. ! It is a human right to prevent human misery. Imran's efforts need appreciation. He has not boasted.
Well said Aseefa.......it would have been even better if your father had dones something positive on this during his 5 years as President.
Bhuttos, you are really great.Magnanimous and large hearted.Future is yours. Thank you ET.
@Saud: Please speak clearly. No ambiguity of words.
@Jibran: This time you have behaved well and spoken sense.
pti should kickout shireen mazari. She does not know anything about politics
@Dr. M.M.Khan: What role?.Has he shot down a drone?Leading a polio campaign is not a thing to boast of.
Supporters of democracy who themselves EXIST on basis of last name
Who are these two kids?
Who is she: A person who has barely spent any time in pakistan let alone KPK, a person who cannot speak national language, a person who is solely known here because of her adopted last name
Who cares about what you think or say?
We are aware about the sincerity of IK for Pakistan, lets other politicians let it know. PTI Zindabad.
Appreciate Bilawal and Asifa for not considering it political stunt ask same question from Hamza or Mariam they will present 100 faults in it.
Good gesture. Polio is eating up Pakistan. It's horrors will continue to haunt next generations of Pakistan. We must all be United in our efforts to combat this menace that is engulfing our children.
the real muk muka what do you say PTI trolls
Go away, Pak does not need PPPP or Bhutto's. Just go away.
PTI imran khan effort to lead anti-polio campaign in KPK & protest against price hike on 22nd dec in lahore has been appreciated by everyone.
