Speaking to NGO and media representatives in Islamabad on Monday, he said that the government would never compromise on national security and neither would it accept dictation from another entity.
He said that the civilian government and military leadership should have the same stance on national security and that consensus will be developed over all issues of interest. Gilani said that 40 billion rupees had been allocated for rehabilitating flood survivors and the government was utilising all possible resources.
