KARACHI:

An anti-terrorism court (ATC) issued non-bailable warrants on Tuesday against the absconding suspects wanted in connection to a bomb attack on the convoy of a Sindh High Court judge.

The court announced this decision after the police had completed the process of proclamation and attachment of property of the absconders.

The investigating officer of the case submitted a report after completion of proceedings under Sections 87 (proclamation for persons absconding) and 88 (attachment of property of person absconding) of the Criminal Procedure Code against the absconders.

The judge of ATC-III recorded the statements of the investigating officer as a court witness and declared the suspects as proclaimed offenders. The court issued life-time arrest warrants against the suspects.

The next hearing date of the case was announced as December 24.
