The forum also announced elaborate plans to arrange sporting events including football, hockey, athletics and cricket talent hunt schemes in order to encourage the youth and promote their skills.
Engineer Said Mehmood, Provincial President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Sports and Culture Forum Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, gave the details of the cricket league while addressing the general body meeting of the forum.
According to Mehmood, the league is being planned on the directives of PTI Chief Imran Khan.
The International Peace Cricket Premier League would be played at the Arbab Niaz Stadium, where each team would comprise of seven national and five international players.
Mehmood added that Younus Khan would captain the K-P team, Umar Gul would lead Baluchistan, Misbahul Haq will skipper Punjab while Shahid Afridi and Shoaib Akhtar will lead the Sindh and Islamabad teams respectively.
A sum of Rs60 million is estimated to be spent on the league.
Mehmood also announced a plan to conduct an Under-17 talent hunt camp in Peshawar on May 21, 2014.
