MUZAFFARABAD: A speeding truck crushed a motorcyclist to death on Jhelum Valley Road here on Saturday.
According to police, Zulqarnain Moosvi, a resident of village Subdi Bala, was on his way to the capital city, Muzaffarabad, on his motorcycle, along with his friend, Qamar Abbas.
When they reached near Khursheedabad, on the suburbs of Muzaffarabad city, a truck coming from the opposite direction hit them. Moosvi died on the spot while his friend sustained injuries. He was admitted to a local hospital. The Secretariat Police arrested the driver and impounded the vehicle after registering a case against him. Moosvi was laid to rest in his village.
