Defrauded: Two deprived of over Rs0.6 million

RAWALPINDI: Two citizens were defrauded of over Rs600,000 in the police jurisdiction of Pirwadhai.

Amjad Farooq lodged a case with the police that Muhammed Usman had borrowed Rs130,000 from him and when was asked to return the money, he made out a cheque, but it was turned down by the bank as there was no money in his account.

Imtiaz told the police that Ajmal borrowed Rs500,000 from him, but he did not return the money and has gone into hiding. The police registered cases and started investigation.
