KARACHI: Demanding immediate protection to journalists in media houses and newspaper industry, the Karachi Union of Journalists (KUJ) announced it would fully participate in the sit-in in front of the Parliament House in Islamabad on December 17 as announced by the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ) against failure of the government to arrest culprits involved in the killing of journalists and cameramen.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the executive council of the KUJ. The meeting condemned the attack on the Express Media Group and demanded the arrest of those involved.
