Courtesy call: Argentinean envoy calls on BISP chief

The envoy congratulated BISP chairman on his appointment.

The newly appointed chairman of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Enver Baig has said that he will revamp the organisation and its programme.  Baig said this while briefing Argentinean Ambassador Rodolfo Martin J. Saravia about the programme. The ambassador paid a courtesy call on the BISP chairman at his office in Islamabad on Friday, said a press release.  The envoy congratulated BISP chairman on his appointment and admired his efforts and vision for poverty alleviation. Baig said he will lay focus on skill development for youth that will play a significant role in poverty alleviation. He also discussed with the ambassador ideas for strengthening and revamping of BISP.
