Human trafficking: Girl kidnapped 2 years ago recovered
The girl was recovered in Kot Chattah by the police and sent to Darul Aman, women’s shelter home.

A 14-year-old girl kidnapped from Karachi two years was recovered by the police in Dera Ghazi Khan on Thursday. Police said the girl had been kidnapped from Karachi’s Korangi area. She had then been sold twice to groups in Rajanpur and Fazilpur. They said her final buyer had forced her to beg on the roads. They said he had prepared a false marriage certificate (nikahnama) to show that he had married the girl. The girl was recovered in Kot Chattah by the police and sent to Darul Aman, women’s shelter home. Her parents were traced and she was handed over to the family through a court order.
