On Wednesday, at least three men were taken into custody during the operation, according to unconfirmed reports. The Rangers raided several houses in the MQM’s stronghold, Azizabad. The search operation of houses belonging to party workers lasted more than three hours.
MQM’s Rabita Committee member Amin ul Haque confirmed to The Express Tribune that the search operation was conducted, saying they had extended full support to the Rangers during their activity. “We have been in favour of the targeted operation since the beginning and fully cooperated with the Rangers.”

@concerned Lyari will be cleaned the day people cut off all affiliations with politicians whom they treat as kings and queens. The day the ignorant realize how they lay down their lives for politicians who do not care about them. That day we will see streets covered with the bodies of the corrupt who call themselves the ruling elite and that day will serve as a lesson for generations to come. Call me pessimistic but that is the only way i think we will see peace in this beautiful homeland of ours.

Not a single bullet or a rocket was hurled at Rangers during the operation, Infact MQM leaders were themselves on the ground fecilitating rangers and providing full co-operation, numerous houses raided not a single weapon found.

I dont support violence nor any particular party, but to be naive enough to think that large amounts of weapons are hidden only in nine zero... Sir you are sadly mistaken. Open your eyes and look around. Every party, group, banned organisation is armed to the teeth!
