KARACHI: A day after the Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain strongly criticised the ongoing targeted operation in Karachi, the Rangers carried out a search operation around the MQM headquarters Nine-Zero in Karachi.

On Wednesday, at least three men were taken into custody during the operation, according to unconfirmed reports. The Rangers raided several houses in the MQM’s stronghold, Azizabad. The search operation of houses belonging to party workers lasted more than three hours.

MQM’s Rabita Committee member Amin ul Haque confirmed to The Express Tribune that the search operation was conducted, saying they had extended full support to the Rangers during their activity. “We have been in favour of the targeted operation since the beginning and fully cooperated with the Rangers.”

@Aysha M: Sister! If I were you... I would be careful. A person's self-claim can be held against him/her in a court, for search operation i.e....Do you know that? There are other ways to get back at PP dark and vengeful schemes.
