I find this law a bit ridiculous. At the end of the day individuals in their private capacity are paying the price for State's inability to provide basic necessities to the public such as food and electricity. The whole "1 dish rule/10 pm" rule is enforced because it apparently keeps people level-headed and doesn't induce social pressure amongst the less fortunate classes to host lavishly. THis train of thought can be extended to various different means of living then if we're at it. Why not restrict then the kind of car you can drive? The kind of food/amount you pay when you eat at restaurants? The list goes on. You want to conserve electricity? Develop mechanisms through which electricity theft is penalized NOT conducting wedding beyond 10 pm.

Besides, individuals have a right to live/celebrate their private events on their own dime and time. Why is the State interfering on such a sacred ceremony of an individual? These laws used to be enforced in PRIVATE wedding halls which had nothing to do with the State. Now they're encroaching further into people's homes? Insane. This is like George Orwell 1984 now.
