GUJRANWALA: Citizens here on Monday caught a stag that had apparently entered Pakistan from the Indian side.

The stag was spotted in a field. It was caught after an hour’s effort and handed over to the Wildlife Department. Wildlife Officer Sabir Hussain said the stag belonged to a rare specie called sambar, which he said, was not found in Pakistan. He said it was injured and would be given first aid before being  sent to the Lahore Zoo.
