Trade, not aid: Hamid credits govt for steps

SIALKOT: Science and Technology Minister Zahid Hamid on Saturday said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) led government was taking revolutionary steps to tackle internal and external issues. He expressed the views while addressing party workers and local notables at Pasrur. Punjab’s former governor Shahid Hamid, Provincial legislator Ch Munawar Gill, Sialkot DCO Iftikhar Ali Sahu and local PML-N leaders Prof Shehzad Ahmed Butt, Javaid Iqbal Ghuman and Khawaja Saeed Butt were also present. The federal minister said the PML-N government was promoting a revolutionary policy of ‘trade, not aid’ with other countries, adding that the policy would help make Pakistan a self-reliant and stable country. He said the PML-N government was taking keen interest in resolving problems.
