Film-maker Mahesh Bhatt, known for his regular endeavours to find common grounds between India and Pakistan, is all set to produce and present a play titled Milne Do, reports the Times of India.

The play, which will be a collaborative effort of theatre actors from both India and Pakistan, features an intense love story between two individuals from the two ends of the border, and aims at promoting the message of peace.

Indian actor Imran Zahid will be playing the lead along with a female lead from Pakistan, who is not finalised yet. Imran is also playing the lead in the theatre reprise of Bhatt’s 1982 film, Arth.

Two bands one each from the two countries will also perform live when the play is performed in cities including Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, Karachi, Islamabad and Lahore. The play will also tour other cities of India and Pakistan.

While Pakistani Sufi rock band Laal has been confirmed, its Indian counterpart is yet to be finalised.

Sharing his feelings regarding the promotion of peace between the two countries, Bhatt said, “I have always maintained that a movie or a play can be a greater vehicle of peace than all the lectures we give. Any message, if communicated through storytelling, touches a chord. This play will be an emotional transaction between industries on both sides.”

Mr.Bhatt is an individual who has no respect for non-western traditions, culture, religion and female gender. This film of his probably wont be and shouldn't be shown in Pakistan. It will only incite violence.

He is rather aiming to promote indecency like he has done in India, women are toys for him
