On merit: HEC grants Rs22 million to SU

The university took 300 interviews out of which 250 candidates qualified for financial help.

HYDERABAD: The Higher Education Commission has granted Rs22 million to the Sindh University, under the federal government funded scholarship programme for deserving students. According to a press release issued on Friday, a sum of Rs36,000 will be spent per semester on each student. The university took 300 interviews out of which 250 candidates qualified for financial help.
