Nisar made this statement while speaking to media outside the parliament after Friday prayers. He was responding to the recent drone strike in Hangu.
“How can we consider US as our friend after this drone strike,” Nisar questioned, adding that he fails to understand why Sartaj Aziz believed in US assurances.
Adviser to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Aziz had recently said that America has assured Pakistan that drone strikes will not be carried out during talks with the Taliban
Blaming US involvement in the country for all the chaos, the interior minister said it is time Pakistan decides between “honour and US dollars.”
He added that American financial aid has not brought any positive change in the country.

@Khan: You are delusional if you think that world dislikes you because you are Muslims, have lots of engineers and scientists, have nuclear power, etc. You are equally delusional if you think your Army has protected Pakistan..sure it has built up impressive capability and armaments, however, it has done nothing in taking up the 'Real' , 'Manly' fight against the Shaia seeking TTP & JI. The Americans are not stupid. Our smart course would be to give over the Haqqanis to the Americans. I can see the dark clouds gathering on the horizon and spreading over Islambad. This is not a good sign; the KPK mangement team is coming over to visit Islamabad, the epi centre of terror and the Headquarter of the army and the Embassy of thed super power. It is upto the Interior Minister Mr Nisar Khan how he is going to prevent what is just starting the preview of the Tehran Embassy replay.. Since Ch. Nisar took over as Interior Minister, he sounds more a spokes person of Imran Khan (PTI) than Nawaz Sharif (PMLN). I wouldnt be surprised if Ch. Nisar join PTI before next election or mid way may resign as a protest from his ministry and thus from PMLN.
From what one reads in Sartaj Aziz' statement, the USA will not use drones once the taliban sit at the peace table with GoP. From what one sees, it is not at all the case so the drone attack is justified one would think. Why such hysteria then? Does anyone sincerely believe the likes of those who lead TTP will talk peace with the authorities of the state? Are they not for destroying education for women, the polio campaign, our military and police forces, minority religions and indeed Muslims themselves? Have the tragic loss of civilians, armed forces, police forces, in the thousands not made clear their intentions? What is Ch. Nisar talking about? Between the likes of him and IK, our politicians I am afraid make very little sense. Such talk must make the TTP think they are indeed strong, and in the right too. Very sad for Pakistan by large.
First of all you have to decide whether USA is your friend or foe .She can't be both and if she is both then you have to bear her as such. Let her do what she wants to do with you . Now what actually is in her interest? In fact only a secular Pakistan is not only in the interest of USA but also for India and Afghanistan and for the entire region . The Islam being followed there for the last 63 years has created problem not only for her but for the entire region and a threat to world peace . PTI is the ruling party in Hangu. If IK claims that innocents were killed in the recent drone strike, why is he not coming out with the identities of those who were killed in this drone attack?
The message from Obama is loud and clear. No terrorist can hide anywhere in Pakistan. If they do, they shall be taken out. One drone based or land intelligence based missile is marked for Hafiz Saeed. He was issuing statements just after the US announced $10 million reward and saying that he is in Lahore and the next day he will be in Karachi and the US can get him. Where is he now? He is silent and shivering now. Be it, Abbottabad, Islamabad or Rawalpindi, no areas are beyond the drone range. If Zarwhiri is found in Rawlpindi, Pakistan will be broken into 3 or 4 pieces within the next one month.

First Haqqanis are Afghans. They are designated terrorists. The recent Islamabad killing of Dr. Haqqani and this drone killing confirm whatbUS has been saying for long I.e. Haqqanis have safe haven in Pakistan. In the past, when they asked you to 'Do More' to take care of terrorists on your soil that were killing Americans, you resented that. You also chose not to do anything to stop them. Well then, US is taking care of it themselves. Are you saying you have a sovereign right to host terrorists on our soil that attack other countries?
Secondly you were planning talks with TTP not Haqqanis? So what is the relevance of this drone strike to peace talks?
Thirdly Sartaj Aziz had been given assurance that there would be no talks while talks were ongoing but since Fazlullah has taken over he has said he is unwilling to talk. So in other words there were no talks ongoing were they?

Sartaj Aziz spoke only of the TTP not being targeted while talks were under way ...So the killing of an alleged militant linked to the Haqqani network does not, strictly speaking, fall within the ambit of the reported US assurance to Pakistan.
Is there anything in Pakistan that you don't hold the USA responsible for? Do you think that Sharif's demand that Taliban lay down arms before negotiations is reasonable? Do you think that the Taliban demand to abandon your Constitution is reasonable? The fact of the matter is that neither side has shown a willingness to negotiate yet you blame the American's for no progress - grow up.

Mr. Nisar please read American history. 9 out 10 Agreements with native Americans (minimum) never were fulfilled. Most other agreements (with other nations) were made to break - as soon as American interests are fulfilled. That's a simple historical facts, for Pakistan being majority Muslim n having rulers/worrier ancestry, 1st Muslim nuclear power, nation of engineers, doctors, scientists, excellent army ready to go any extend to defend Pakistan territory, young generation capable to learn n protect national interest. Some one have to be ignorant to even think that America, western nations, Zionist Israel and above all Hindu India cannot n would be restless if Pakistan progress n stand on it's feet. If China can come out of it's miserable past/suppressed circumstances it faced by USSR n others, why Pakistan cannot.
Pakistan should cordon off FATA from mainland KPK, declare it an autonomous territory (since it's obvious the govt has absolutely no writ there) and let the US nuke it into oblivion - no sovereign violation then and Pakistan will be better off for it. It has nothing to gain from conflict in Pakistan or any other country. The American people don't want any more war. Wars are expensive and cause great damage to all sides. But islamist terror must be confronted. Pakistan is the most dangerous country on earth due to its nuclear weapons and raging Islamist insurgency. Al Qaeda would happily blow up a nuclear bomb in every American city if it could, murdering millions without thinking twice. @Adnan Siddiqi: O the talks with Talibans were initiated alright, however it's not about what is claimed, all they were negotiating was assurances that Talibans would spare the province of Punjab and guarantee that Sharifs' family & friends would not be targeted. What Talibans demanded in return would remain a secret and people of Pakistan would never be informed about, since it was between "the stake holders" you know the "apne loaga".
