FAISALABAD:

Two polio cases were reported from Kamalia on Saturday.

Health Department officials said the cases had surfaced in Chak 662-GB and Chak 751-GB. Both the children, a boy and a girl, had missed their anti-polio vaccination.

Toba Tek Singh DCO Farah Masood said it was a big loss. She said she had ordered an inquiry into whether or not the children had been missed due to negligence of polio workers. She said there were chances that they (families) were not present when a polio team had gone to give vaccination to children in the area.
